My girlfriend and I are on a long trip starting in Southeast Asia, through Australia, ending in South America. We're looking for a place to stay for cheap as we're traveling on a shoestring budget.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's awesome to meet new people anywhere on a trip, but the most rewarding is always meeting locals. You get more of a feel of a place. And if I'm honest, CS is likely to be cheaper for budget travelers than staying in hostels.

We have quite different tastes; Katherine loves her music she can dance and sing to, as do I, but I also like some rock, and some Jazz.

I'm currently reading Game of Thrones but fantasy isn't usually a genre I'd go for. I also read non-fiction politics and social science books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sam saw a critically-endangered Hawksbill Turtle whilst Scuba Diving in Thailand. Travelling the world is pretty amazing as a couple in general though.
