About Me

Hi there,

I have just moved to Whyalla in South Australia for work but I am also really keen to explore the area. I love basically anything outdoors especially camping, so hopefully if I can get some time off work I'll get to explore the awesome beaches around here and hopefully travel to some remote places in my little 4wd.

A bit more about me;

I grew up in country Victoria, moved into Melbourne for university. I studied Environmental Engineering and am now working as an Enviro engineer not that anyone actually knows what that means but basically I look after all things enviro on a big construction project.
After I graduated I travelled for 6 months in Europe, Morocco, Turkey and the UK and loved every minute of it. I met so many awesome people on my travels and can't wait to travel again in the near future.

Unfortunately I couldn't travel forever so I came back home and started work in Port Melbourne then I got offered a job in Whyalla and since I'm always up for an adventure I figured I may as well see what it's like.

I'm very easy going, always up for an adventure and love meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used couchsurfing on my overseas trip in 2015 and had some really great experiences (like the one in my profile pic) so hopefully by hosting I can meet some new people and have great experiences with them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was staying in a tiny town in Southern Spain and had the chance to be in their Carnival, I couldn't believe the amount of work that goes into getting everything prepared from the costumes (profile pic) to a huge motorised castle that we drove down the main road. In the end it was so worth it though, I think we partied for almost a week straight.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't know too much about this region yet but I am getting to know a lot of people here who have told me about places I should visit, so right now I can offer you a room and an enthusiastic adventure buddy.
