Grew up in the Maryland/DC area. Went to undergrad at the University of Wisconsin - Madison (Go Badgers!!!) where I studied Wildlife Ecology and Biological Aspects of Conservation. I'm currently a senior/final year veterinary student studying at Virginia-Maryland College of Vet Med located in Blacksburg, VA at Virginia Tech.

Grew up traveling around the country with my family to visit as many National Parks as we could get to which started me off on my interests in the environment, animals, and science.

Interests

I love nature, animals, hiking, biking, exploring, birding, philosophizing and talkerizing about science and space and the world and people and reality the whole shabang.

I love music, movies, and sports very very much. I enjoy singing, exploring new music recommendations, watching new movies without any idea what I'm getting into and playing lots of different sports. Basketball, soccer, and volleyball are favorites.

On the veterinary side of things, I'm very interested in One Health, wildlife conservation, zoonotic disease, and biodiversity.
