My names Sam, I’m 22 years old and I’m from Melbourne, Australia. I love travelling, watching films, comedy and meeting new people. I had my first solo adventure travelling Europe and I had one of the best experiences of my life and really enjoy meeting new people and locals from all around Europe. I like nature and walking through it all so if you have recommendations for cool places I’m all ears. For my time in Canada I really want to get out and see it all, so I plan on moving through all the towns and trying to see as much of this massive country as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It was recommended to me by a lot of different travellers I’ve met while staying in hostels, so I thought I might try it out. I have done couch surfing before just randomly meeting families and they offer me a place but I think this app would be perfect.

Books - I’m not much of a reader but I’m trying to get back into it, I have a couple books on me I’ll read first but any recommendations would be awesome!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel like one amazing thing I’ve done is the Europe trip I’ve done solo, because all my family and friends were thinking it was a bad idea but it went super smoothly and an all around amazing experience, it’s made me want to do stuff like this more often and all around the world.

I would say I’m very respectful of the space and people around me and would try to be helpful in any way needed. I love talking about Aussie culture to people who are curious or interested in a certain part of it. I also love learning about cultures everywhere I’ve gone.
