About Me

Hello fellow travelers and Couchsurfing community! My name is Sam, and I'm an avid explorer always seeking new adventures and cultural experiences. I believe that the best way to truly immerse oneself in a new place is by connecting with the locals and experiencing their way of life. That's why I love Couchsurfing, it allows me to meet amazing people from all over the world, learn about their culture and way of life, and create lasting memories. I'm always looking for new places to explore, new cultures to experience, and new friends to make.

As a Couchsurfing guest, I'm respectful, open-minded, and easy-going. I understand that I'm a guest in your home, and I will always treat it with the utmost respect. I'm also happy to help out with any chores or tasks that need to be done.

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, and I hope to meet you soon! Let's share some stories, laughs, and adventures together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that travel should be more than just ticking off tourist attractions - it should be about making genuine connections with people and experiencing the world in a way that is meaningful and memorable.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m interested in New Zealand traditional culture. Learning Te Reo, craving and weaving Taniko and Korowai.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a guest, I believe that it's important to give back and contribute to the hosting experience in any way I can.

I love sharing my travel stories with others, and hearing about their own adventures. I'm always happy to swap travel tips and recommendations.

One of the best parts of Couchsurfing is the opportunity to learn about different cultures. I'm always happy to share my own culture with others, whether it's through food, music, or traditions.

I enjoy cooking and am always happy to share a meal with my hosts. I'm also happy to help out with meal prep and clean-up.

I speak Chinese, and am always happy to help others practice their language skills. I also love learning new languages, so if you speak a language I don't know, I'd love to learn some new phrases from you!

I understand that hosting can be a lot of work, so I'm always willing to help out with housekeeping tasks such as washing dishes, doing laundry, or tidying up.

Sometimes the best thing you can share with someone is your time and company. I love meeting new people and having interesting conversations, and I'm always happy to spend time with my hosts if they have the time and inclination.
