About Me
Hey! I'm originally from the Minneapolis-St. Paul area in Minnesota, U.S.A. Over the past 8 or so years I have lived in Wisconsin and Colorado for school and work. My work has been in energy and education. I'm new to the couchsurfing thing but have heard great things from friends who have used it. I hope to meet some of you as I ride around Europe on my bike this summer before I head back to graduate school! I'm super excited to tour through France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and the Czech Republic. I've spent time around Europe but never in these places. For fun, I like biking (obviously), playing/listening to music, sports (basketball, hockey, american football), and hanging out with friends. Otherwise, I'm interested in food/drinks/cooking, cheese, hot sauce, music, big cities, economics, math, business, coming up with start-up ideas, international politics and learning new things.
I'll be in Ann Arbor, Michigan for the next couple of years going to school and then plan to move to New York City. I hope that I can meet up/host with you sometime in any of those places. I also have a lake house in northern Minnesota which is very nice. We've hosted a number of foreign exchange students (from France, Norway, Bulgaria, Japan, Argentina) and make a point to bring them and their families there.
