Overview
About Me
I'm a Brit, for better or worse. I've spent a fair bit of time away from the country and have lived in Kuwait, Canada and the Netherlands over the years, and am lucky to have friends all over the globe. I don't drink milk or juice out of the carton and put it back in the fridge, because I'm not a savage. I don't mind if you do, but please warn me first so I can mentally prepare.
On a more serious note, if you host me I will be clean, considerate and well behaved. I think it's incredible that people let strangers stay in their homes in good faith and would never do anything to jeopardise that trust.
I'm a straight male, if that matters to you. I have no problem with anyone elses orientation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hotels are bubbles and hostels get pretty samey after a while. Hoping to meet people who can offer some insight into how life is lived where they are.
Interests
My home now is in London which suits me fine - the diversity of people, music, and food keeps me very entertained. Up for thrills and chills, and happy on my own or with others.

Music, Movies, and Books
Classics, sci-fi, comedies, independent movies, etc. My favourite director has to be Christopher Nolan, though I'm a huge fan of Neill Blomkamp's work and vision (District 9 et al.). At the moment I'm trying to catch up on the classic books, such as Catch 22, To Kill a Mockingbird, American Psycho... They're great.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I got out of bed without hitting the snooze button.
Also, seeing the sun rise on both the Pacific and Caribbean oceans at the same time from a volcano in Panama.
Teach, Learn, Share
Stories. Music. I can teach you 20 words of Spanish and how to scramble eggs properly (hint: Gordon Ramsay).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Respect, consideration, and hopefully a laugh or two. At least a polite smirk. I can offer advice on where to go and how to travel in a number of countries (see my countries visited list) and am more than happy to get involved with the chores (voluntary slavery).
Countries I’ve Visited
