I am currently a Junior at Cal Poly SLO in California. I am majoring in mechanical engineering with the hopes of joining the biomedical industry.

I grew up in Oregon and have had the privilege of traveling to various countries in South and Central America. I have always enjoyed trying to experience a new city or country through a more local experience.

My hobbies include surfing, skiing, and camping/hiking. In addition to this, I have to come to love the "arts". I love listening to, discussing, and appreciating most types of music. I can also get lost in good photos or paintings/drawings.

I want to be exposed to more in life; more cultures, people, places, etc. Couchsurfing seems like the most authentic way to tackle this mission.
