In the past, my trips were mostly for educational (conferences, forums) and business purposes. And one thing I learned from my previous experiences was that, although seeing new places was always great, it was getting to know new people and discovering their cultures what I enjoyed most about the journeys. I wish I had joined this awesome community before.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe couchsurfing is the best way to get off the main tourist travel path, connect with locals and make new friends. I'm not here to save a few bucks by getting free accommodation but rather to get out of the hotel/hostel paradigm and get to know a place deeper.
