Hi there! My name is Sam!

I'm very grateful that 27 years ago, my mom put me on this intriguing world!

Quick CV of interests:
- sports- and movement enthusiast. I need my frequent dosis of moving, handstands, acrobatics, workouts, climbing, yoga or running...
- I currently work as a teacher 'Dutch as a foreign language'.
- I have a weak spot for Latin-America - I've spend quite some time in Paraguay, Colombia and Mexico
- I have a big interest in nature, all kind of sports and other cultures
- I like to travel in a light and independant way, think: hitchhike, backpack, camp, bike-travel...
- Since you can find me on Couchsurfing, I naturally embody a certain curiosity to meet new people
- I love it to try out things I've never done before
- I like to prepare good and healthy food that fuels my mind and my body to flourish
- I enjoy being 'on my way' to somewhere I've not been before

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

- The experience to meet new and inspiring people.
- Helping others out simply makes one happy!
- Just sharing and spreading that unique connection between all couchsurfers. I think solidarity is something we sometimes have a lack of in this world. Over time I've noticed that hospitable and welcoming hosts are one of the best ingredients to make a traveler feel at home!
