I'm an easy going, friendly guy who love's to travel and not only discover, but live new cultures. There's nothing like meeting new people and living where every street is strange and inspires life.
I love to write and take photos and learn.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was backpacking around Europe for a year I wasn't registered as a couch surfer but ran into a guy on the street at 5am on my way from the train station. He had couch surfers before and welcomed me in. Had an amazing time going to local spots and parties and staying in a great apartment with friendly local musicians.

Interests

I love reading and writing. I don't discriminate, I love reading anything that captures you and makes you wonder "how is this person doing" long after you've turned the last page. I love photography, I think catching an instance in time and holding it there is a thing of beauty.
At home I ride motorbikes and do whenever I can travelling as well. Same goes for snowboarding. I've snowboarded a few places around the world but my months in Japan and recent expedition in Iran were exceptionally special.
Music, especially live music is something I love. I listen to lots of different music all the time, a habit cemented perhaps by travel.
I love traveling. Learning from people and cultures is a gift I think and one that is there for everyone to receive.
Along those lines, I love nothing more than getting stuck in long conversations that invariably end in philosophy.
I have lots of interests and loves (perhaps non more so than my girlfriend, she's kinda special), to many to put down here. Let's have a chat!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling to Iran with my incredible girlfriend is truly amazing. I never imagined a place like this and it is humbling to be met by such a welcoming people when you get there.

The week I spent in a tiny town in the mountains of Albania (and the hitchhiking journey to get there) called Thethi, with a little Albanian family was pretty special. Sitting amongst the fireflies and watching the football world cup with the locals whilst drinking rhaki and playing football with friends and local kids was a lot of fun!
