Hello there! I'm Sam from Manchester and currently I'm travelling the US with my Aussie mate. We've stopped off in Orlando, New Orleans, Birmingham, Atlanta and Washington D.C so far and we're looking forward to the next leg of our trip. Personally I think I'm a funny guy but overall I'm someone who loves to immerse themselves in someones culture and who loves to meet new people.

As we get to to the last leg of our I realise we have spent as much time with other people than ourselves and close friends. So I would really like to have a true American experience and I believe couch-surfing is the best way to do this! I have never couch surfed before and, to be honest, I'm a little nervous about it. But I'm a confident traveller now and believe I'll be able to get the most out of it. Plus it would be a lovely end to my American adventure

I once sailed from Belfast to Liverpool in the exact same ship that they modelled the 'Black Pearl' from (of Pirates of The Caribbean Fame).
