Having worked full time for the last three years I have dusted of my rucksack and am back on the road, this time in New Zealand! I spent much of my early twenties backpacking around Europe and Asia meeting great people and experiencing great cultures and looking forward to getting back into it.

I enjoy camping, hiking and the outdoors. I have trained more recently as a junior brewer so I love visiting small local breweries whenever I get the chance.

I love meeting new and interesting people and learning/experiencing local culture. I love the travelling community and have met many generous friends on my travels. I am hoping to build up my couch surfing profile to experience many more of these cultural exchanges! Very much looking forward to finding my own place in the future and repaying the favour.

I'm a big fan of 1970's rock, more into documentaries (Louis Theroux fanboy for sure) than movies and love books related to evolutionary biology and human history (I loved Sapiens, A Brief History of Human Kind by Yuval Noah Harari).
