I'm from Scotland and have been living in Helsinki with my Finnish partner since summer 2020.

We have been moving around a lot in the last 5 years, living in Scotland, Sweden and Denmark. Hoping to maybe stay in Finland a little longer, but it never seems to end up that way!

We are both very open-minded people and like to meet people from all over the world and learn a bit about them and their experiences, it is always interesting to try to see the world through the eyes of people with a different perspective.

Interests

I do a lot of running and a little yoga. But mostly I really love stuff like surfing, snowboarding and bouldering but never seem to get the chance to do them enough to get that good. Honestly, I like giving any sport a try so if you want to teach me an interesting new one that would be awesome!

I studied earth science at university so have a real interest in anything based on climate/oceans/geology and just nature and wildlife in general. I'm a bit animal obsessed and have a very long list of animals I want to see wild some day. Recently ticked gorillas of the list in Uganda and swimming with dolphins in Mauritius. Awesome!

I have a tendancy to get a bit political at times. Sorry about that. Do feel free to stop me!

I also really like to cook and think I'm pretty good, I love trying new recipes if you have any ideas! Also I'm vegan, so especially keen if other vegans have some interesting recipes.
