Meet interesting people that have established lives in the places that I am visiting. I feel it gives a decreased tourist bias. Also a much more personal experience

Whilst traveling My interest in how humans live (culture, activity, understanding) has developed. As part of that, meeting as many people as possible. My home life interests that I attempt to continue whilst traveling include surfing, drawing, health and food

Lived with a local family in Cusco, Peru for about 3 months, being part of their daily lives and an amazing culture
