My wife Shaina and I have been moving around the American west for the last few years, most recently living in Utah. We recently decided to relocate to Oregon, but not before doing some traveling. We realized that there probably won't be too many times in life when we'll have the flexibility to travel for an extended amount of time, so we headed to Europe. Currently, we're in western Norway, a place I've always dreamed of seeing, and it's absolutely stunning. We'd love to find some couches to crash on, both to meet some locals and avoid sleeping in the rain :) Honestly though, all of my favorite travel experiences have been solely due to the people I've met, so I'd love to meet some of the people of this gorgeous country. I've only used couch surfing a few times, but every time I've met some pretty great people who've enriched my life.

I'm generally quite a curious person and can find some level of interest in most things.

I'm terrible with favorites. For books, it's likely the last good one I read. I'm reading Walden right now, and I'm enjoying it. Musically, I'm really enjoying indie alternative rock these days. I love the sound of piano and guitar together. Bands I'm digging right now: Kodaline, Novo Amour, Gregory Alan Isakov, Andrew McMahon. I enjoy most other music too. Movies- Dumb and Dumber is probably the classic of all classics. I also enjoy a thought-provoking sci-fi, a heart-renching drama, a suspenseful thriller, or a good chick flick.

Getting my paragliding rating with my wife! We're brand new to the sport and are excited for all the adventures to come. I love that we're doing it together. Sharing such an awesome hobby makes it ten times better.
