I am very easygoing, love people and animals. I live very near the beach in North San Diego with my two kitties and my two grown sons. I am open to new experiences and I love meeting new people. Travel is one of my favorite things to do- I love it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have always lived by the logo "Mi Casa Est Su Casa" - so many friends and family have come to stay for a few days or a week and enjoy the beach, the lagoon and the proximity to San Diego. I look forward to making new friends via the Couchsurfing community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mostly I have been the host but I look forward to doing some extensive travelling the next couple of years. After a serious illness in 2013- I am now doing great and living life to the fullest..

Interests

I love to practice yoga, go on walks and hikes, ski, dance and write poetry. I love to read, cook and garden. I also love to travel and learn about new cultures. I love to go out and listen to live music. But most of all I love to spend time with my family and friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music ( Jazz, Blues, Rock, Indie, ....) and especially live music. San Diego outdoor concerts in the summer are the best! I also like a variety of books- everything from Ayn Rand,Michael Crighton, Jodi Picoult, Barbara Kingsolver, and even the Harry Potter series. Favorite movies- Hitch, Matrix, Shawshank, and too many to list here....... I like movies :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was lucky enough to go to Peru and see Machu Pichu a few years ago. I meditated for about an hour on the back side of the ruins and it was incredible. I also spent a few hours in a public market where I was immersed in the culture of Cuzco- so cool!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am very well versed in yoga, natural remedies, mothering, gardening, cooking, and I seem to have a knack for listening and really understanding others help see what their problems and solutions are.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy cooking and baking. I have a green thumb for gardening. I am pretty knowledgeable about natural remedies and holistic therapies. I am good company. I am also a very respectful and considerate guest.
