ABOUT ME

I am from New Zealand and have just finished studying a Bachelor of Communications, moved to Brisbane two months ago. The plan is to save up and travel/volunteer in Cambodia and India and then get lost in South America.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Me and a friend are living in a 3 bedroom house in Milton, Brisbane. Very close to the city. We have two spare beds, plus some couches.

I did work in radio, and currently write for a music website (unpaid). I want to write for Rolling Stone magazine, and my dream is to travel the world, writing about music/festivals. I also want to one day open a bar/hangout spot full of culture, music, and conversation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting a 13 hour bus from Bangkok to some obscure part of Thailand. The bathroom was a metal room with a hole cut out in one corner. The seats hard as rock. Everyone was drunk on Thai whisky. Walking inbetween carriages was a risk in itself as you could easily fall off, we had to stop for an hour because apparently someone did.
