ABOUT ME

I joined couchsurfing in 2006 when I had just graduated and was about to spend a year teaching in Mexico. After travelling around Latin America for a while I came back to England and now find myself pretty settled in North London - weird the way life turns out! This summer I'm going to be between jobs, so three years later I'm heading back to Mexico and Central America.

PHILOSOPHY

That everyone has something to say and we should all make an effort to listen. Also, I believe that its impossible to understand people from different cultures without experiencing life as they live it, which is why I like to travel.

Living in a shoe box sized flat I've never hosted, but I hope this will change when I have my own place.

Interests

Travelling, photography, music (listening to rather than playing), the beach, reading, walking around new cities, exploring, learning new languages, meeting new people.

I love Camila, Belinda and other Mexican pop, also British Indie, dancing to Salsa and cumbia, a little bit of regaetton, paolo nutini.

I think just being here, and having the opportunity to travel and see the rest of the world is pretty amazing in itself.
