After all, we are one big family :)
The truth is, I am neither black or white, brown or yellow, but my blood is red just like you and everyone else. I love german bratwurst, thai tom yum goong, I eat tandoori chicken with my hands and dim sum's with chopsticks. I embrace the rain, sun, snow and wind but at the same time I also enjoy the winter, summer, autumn and spring. I listen to gaelic seisiún and k-pop, watch japanese anime, able to curse in most asian languages. I love traditional scottish breakfast, kebab's for lunch and bird's nest soup for dessert. I love durians, stinky toufu and haggis with black pudding. I don't do sports but I do greco roman wrestling, brazilian vale tudo and muay-thai. I love an all american hot-dog, japanese sushi and indonesian iga bakar. I shake hands, french kiss, bow and hug when i meet people. I say Hi, Hello, Ni Hao, Como estas, Wie Geits, Konichiwa, Sawatdee kharp and Assalamualaikum. What can i tell ya? I am just a world citizen. :)
Breathe and take a step back. Look at yourself. You are human and you can be anything and everything. Do not hate because someone broke your heart, or because your parents split up or your best friend betrayed you. Do not concern yourself with things you cannot control. Cry when you need to, then let go when it’s time. Don’t hang on to painful memories. Let go of things that are in the past. Forget things that aren’t worth remembering. Stop taking things for granted. Stop taking life for granted. Live for something. Live for yourself. Fall in love. Fall out of love. Fall in love. Fall out of love. Do this over and over until you know what it really is to love someone. Question things. Tell people how you really feel. Sleep under the stars. Follow your dreams. Travel. See the world with an open mind and an open heart. Live your life to its full potential. Just live. Let go of all the horrible things in your life and just live. Life has to go on and it will go on whether you like it or not. And one day, when you’re old, look back with no regrets and tell yourself you did well.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I help :)
I organize massive monthly dinner meet-ups, walking tours, self-defense classes, night walks and many more.
I love to see people getting together & strangers becoming friends, therefore seeing them coming together ignoring all boundaries simply makes it all worthwhile. At least, I know I brought people together :)
Couchsurfing changed it all. During my lifetime, these eyes have seen a lot of horrible things. I've done many things that are unimaginable and the experiences I've dealt with have left a deep scar in my life. Couchsurfing has made me see the world thru cultural experiences, I began to see people beyond their skin tone, their religious beliefs and I started to understand people and learn respecting every single person i've met. You should always believe the good in people and miracles do happen, and for me, Couchsurfing is the miracle.
People. Ehem, You!
