Hello! We are Sam (28) and Shannon (25), an adventurous newly engaged couple who are currently travelling the world for 2 years. Being abroad and on the move is funnily enough when we feel most at home. We love to travel - in fact, that is how we first met - crossing paths 3 years ago in Prague :) We love meeting new people, experiencing new cultures, exploring foreign cities and sharing stories.

We have tried various ways of traveling on our journey and although we have mostly stayed in hostels, after spending some time in home stays, we found that having a local insight was a really cool way to experiences things we may not have before. We have also had many friends of friends stay on our couch over the years and figured this could be a great way to have the favour returned.

兴趣

We love music, traveling, reading, hiking/adventuring, meeting new people and having a few casual drinks exchanging stories.
Sam is a keen sports fan and has played many years of his favourite sport (AFL) in Australia, but tends to follow new sports with interest in countries we explore.
Shannon loves her food, it's often the biggest highlight of the day when she finds a new "favourite" meal!
We both love cooking, especially together, and often challenge ourselves to cook a new meal we've never tried before to expand our abilities.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

After first meeting each other, and only spending 9 days total together we moved to France to run a Chalet in the 3 Valleys Ski region. This marked the beginning of our relationship, working together and living together all in one and on a complete whim. It was an amazing experience (Shannon had to teach Sam to ski!) and sparked our adventures together. 3 years later, we are engaged and owe it all to a huge risk that definitely paid off!

Having started our relationship around food, we are always willing to not only learn to cook new meals in our new countries, but also love to cook for others and would happily offer this service to any hosts in exchange for their hospitality :)
