Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There are quite a few reason I am couchsurfing:

1) I am a student
2) I come from a very small town and have not found many people interest in traveling the same places as I
3) I believe it will open up the opportunity to meet some truly fantastic people without having to put myself through more 'hostel' situations(see what I did just there :)?!?)
4) I really would love to show off the parts of Canada that are close to me. I believe my area is truly beautiful and has sooo much to offer (sandbanks & PEC wine country, Bon Echo & Algonquin provincial parks, Toronto & Niagara Falls, Kingston, Montreal, Ottawa... all within about 3 hours!)

Interests

I love to always be busy. Everyone always comments how busy I am , or how I am always on the go. I love filling every day with something:

-yoga, my road bike, taking my puppy on long trail walks
-comfy pjs & good coffee
-trashy pop culture mags, historical fiction, modern philosophy

As mentioned above I am a nursing student who currently works as a PSW. Although I will be excited to become a nurse, I am so thankful I got the experience of a support worker. It is truly the best feeling to able to help those in need. My special passion is working with people who live with Dementia.
