My name is Samantha, I'm from Melbourne, Victoria. Currently travelling around Europe and looking to engage with new people via couch surfing. I love the outdoors and being active, I enjoy pushing myself to new extremes and living my life to its fullest. I enjoy interesting and intellectual conversations (without getting too involved to start an argument). I am very open minded and super outgoing making it easy for me to get along with new people.

I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Arts and Masters in Teaching, with my majors being English and French. I'm in my second year of studies and still have 2.5 to go! I work in a cafe for the time being and have just become qualified to teach Pilates and will commence that when I return home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hostels can get quite expensive and I figured couch surfing would be the next best thing. Still able to meet people but through a different aspect. I like the idea of emerging yourself in the social scene of a true local and hope to gain some deeper knowledge of the cities I'm visiting.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all music. If it's a good song I'll listen to it regardless of the genre. Same with movies although depending on my mood really depends on the kind of movie I'm feeling that day. I don't tend to read a lot (ironic considering I study English) but when I find a book I love I tend to finish it within a week.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling Europe at the age of 19 is probably the most amazing thing I've done thus far in my very early life.
