Hey I'm Sam! I recently finished my bachelors degree in Earth and Environmental science at McMaster university and am pursuing a career in ocean conservation. I am super passionate about ocean conservation, love the outdoors, as well as exploring and meeting new people. I am super easy going and love having fun. I am taking a year off to travel and work for a marine conservation NGO before I start graduate studies in oceanography.

I am on couchsurfing to meet new people while traveling. I love listening and sharing stories. I thought coursurfing would be a great way to connect with locals while traveling!

Favourite music has to be classic rock (the guardians of the galaxy playlist pretty much sums up my favourite songs), indie, R&B, jazz and pretty much everything under the sun!

I love comedy, action and drama movies. My favourite movies have to be classics and good documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Surfed on both coasts of Canada, hiked up an active volcano and went scuba diving 3 km from a great white shark.
