I'm a young adult who loves adventure and new experiences. I am a 5th grade teacher, but my true passion is animals! I am an amateur dog trainer and an expert pet owner :) My husband and I live in the beautiful state of Maine and enjoy going to the beach with our dogs and spending time with friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was first introduced to Couchsurfing when my roommates and I hosted some travelers from Ireland in college. My second experience with Couchsurfing was when my [now] husband and I went on a road trip out west and stayed with a variety of people who we connected with via Couchsurfing. It was an amazing experience that I will never forget! Getting to meet people and really experience the culture of the places we were visiting was a unique way to travel that really can't be replicated in any other way. We will be going on our honeymoon this summer which is why we are back on Couchsurfing.com!

Music- all sorts! No one specific genre but I do like a lot of acoustic guitar/folk-type music.

Movies- Comedies/Romantic comedies/Dramas

Books- I really enjoy reading the books my students are reading! The Phantom Tollbooth is my all-time favorite book, but I also love To Kill a Mockingbird, and guiltily, The Twilight Series :-0
