I have lived in the Midwest my whole life except for a short period where I studied abroad in College in Singapore. I am always interested in opportunities to work on my Mandarin! My dream is to be fluent enough to take an extended trip to China and see more of the country than only the major cities.

I love learning new things, and doing as many new things as I can. Life is short and I don't want to ever feel like I missed out. Backpacking is one of my favorite things to do as I love exploring nature in a way that can only be done by being immersed in it for days.

I am an industrial automation engineer. I design and deploy control systems for factories around the US. The best part of my job is that I get to travel to a lot of the country that I wouldn't normally ever think about going to. I also love problem solving of all kinds.

Meeting new people! I have had good experiences with Couchsurfing when I was younger and now I am working on convincing my partner that hosting people from around the world is a more than worth while experience.

I love all forms of EDM but primarily Progressive House. My favorite Movies are Moulin Rouge!, About Time and the Lord of the Rings. I love Fantasy and SciFi. I have read an extensive amount of Star Wars EU and a wide range of Fantasy . Currently I am working on The Wheel of Time series. I am always open to recommendations as I try to find more time in my busy schedule to read.
