Hello, I'm Sami! I hail from America, but France is like my second home. I'm currently taking a gap year between my undergrad and master's, and teach English to people ages 3 and up.

My passion for learning drives my love of travel. I plan to work with manuscripts, and think the best way to learn the history behind them is to see it for myself. When I take a trip, expect to find me in castles and churches, as well as a few museums along the way.

Nerdiness aside, I'm also a foodie and language-lover. I enjoy exploring new languages (especially less common/indigenous ones) as well as tasting local cuisine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I want to see the world, even with my teaching assistant's budget. I believe that traveling is a wonderful way to open the mind, especially when combined with meeting locals.
