I caught the travel bug after I backpacked Thailand solo for 3 weeks in January 2017. I'm a student at the University of Delaware in the United States in my last semester. I have been accepted to a graduate program for audiology and I'm working on deferring my acceptance. Next year (September 2017-May 2018), I will be probably backpacking Oceania and SE Asia. I love going to music festivals/concerts, watching sunsets, working as a summer camp counselor, singing in my a cappella group, etc. I'm vegan but I'm incredibly easy-going and can find food anywhere.

The best way to travel is to host and be hosted by a local. You can become a cultural ambassador, learning the truth and breaking stereotypes. When I have my own apartment in a few years, I will be a host for people from all over the world. For now, I'm working on making connections, having fun, and learning something new wherever I go.
