I'm not in a position to take couchsurfers at the moment but will definitely do it when I have a bigger house!

I have couchsurfed in Amsterdam, partied with couchsurfers in Paris, and have hosted two last minute couchsurfers while travelling. When travelling I like to go to couchsurfer events and make new friends and travel buddies.
