About Me

I smile a lot, laugh too loud, and am told I take way too many photographs of everything. I am formerly a preschool teacher, currently a CSA at Food Lion, and futurely a-- i don't know. I have too many passions and not enough lives to be all I want to be. I am 5'2", and 22 years old.

CURRENT MISSION

Embracing the strange and unusual, conquering fears, going on crazy adventures that leave you feeling calm

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet new people from all over the world and form lasting connections and friendships. I would like to explore other cultures and once I save up enough money, I would like to become a couchsurfer myself and backpack all over the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed a mountain in West Virginia where you can look out on FIVE STATES-- Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky. Worked with toddlers who have trust issues, family issues, speech impediments and learning issues. Made Autistic students smile daily by sharing music with them (Started a program with my band director in high school to have the SECEP Students join us on percussion instruments). Built playgrounds for little kids with cancer. Walked entire Appalachain Trail--which is 26 miles. Saved a scared dog from a very scary owner.

What I Can Share with Hosts

American junk food, my culture as being a German-Canadian who lives in America, a great sense of adventure, the willingness to share my art and soak up others (Photography, Theatre, Music), Jam sessions, the willingness to party as other cultures do and share my foreign american customs
