Overview
About Me
I am a digital nomad, travel full time and work online. I've been on the road for 18 months and have been to 18 countries during that time. I am on a mission to visit every country in the world. I run my own marketing consultancy it is as location independent as I am. I love my travelling lifestyle but it can be lonely at times and this is why I thought I would give couch surfing a try - to meet new people (especially locals) while I am on the road. I am quite social, I love going out trying new food, dancing the night away and generally just looking for my next big adventure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well, as I briefly mentioned above, I travel full time and it can be lonely being a solo traveller so instead of staying alone in an airbnb or hotel I thought I would give Couchsurfing a try. I really enjoy meeting new people and I am always looking to immerse myself into the local culture of wherever I am staying. I feel like living with and like a local would be the best way to do this.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music collection has been called eclectic and I have everything from classical to country to hip hop on my playlist. Trying to make me choose a favourite book is like asking a mom who her favourite child is. I love all books and each is special in their own way but if you push me for an answer I'd say 'Gone with the Wind' because frankly my dear I don't give a damn ;-)
My favourite movie is and will always be Dirty Dancing...because nobody puts Baby in a corner.
Did I mention I have very lame jokes...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've recently brought my mom on her first overseas trip in her life. She is 69 and she had never left South Africa. I had been promising for years that I would do it but had never been able to but finally this year I was and if I'm honest it's the proudest I've ever felt.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach people how to write compelling marketing copy, I happily share my food and I just want to learn as much about the place I am visiting as I can.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a decent cook and I've been told my company isn't half bad. I've been travelling with all I own in two bags for almost two years so I don't have much to share outside of my time and my stories but I have an abundance of both if that interests you at all.
