ABOUT ME

Hello everyone, my name is Samantha but everyone calls me Sam. I woud hope my best friends would call me funny, honest, considerate, tenacious, kind, and responsible.
I am a born and raised New York City girl, touch on the outside, marshmallow on the inside.
My grandfather who is 100 is my best friend and beats me at Scrabble on a daily basis and I would do anything for him and my family and friends.

Interests

I recently got my MA in Art History after a long sabbatical in higher education living life, exploring the US and abroad, trying to find my passions. I write freelance as an art critic and also work for a gallery. I love going to see new bands, reading, exploring unfamiliar territory, being challenged with whatever life throws at me. Im a sucker for dogs, black coffee, and great literature. Have a pretty decent and sometimes perverted sense of humor about life and just take a day at a time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- seeing my friend who was in a horrific car accident and told he may never walk again dance at his wedding
- the bottom of the grand canyon away from everything other than the pure natural wonders untouched
- my grandfathers 100th birthday party
