ABOUT ME

i am an ISTJ personality type and always try to live in the world of possibilities. i'm the oldest of my siblings and quite responsible. however, i do like to party and am always up for spontaneous adventures. i like to color outside the lines, meet new people, and seize opportunities. i also love rock climbing, singing, exploring abandoned places, and photography.

PHILOSOPHY

the quote that i try to live by was written by Thoreau:
"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived."

i am someone who very much lives in the present. this is not to say that i don't plan, but i try to fully experience everything around me before it slips away.

right now i do not have a couch of my own to host any of you, (sorry) however i am looking to travel around a bit to figure out what i want from this huge, amazing, beautiful, messy, emotional thing we call life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

so far i've had the privilege of meeting a few couch surfers while studying abroad. i have hosted a wonderful surfer and just started to do a little surfing of my own in Glasgow, Edunburgh, Munich, Berlin, and Dresden

i've watched a brooch of baby birds hatch from their eggs. i stood and watched for about 2 hours while all of them struggled to break free and come into the world, it was just beautiful !
