ABOUT ME

I am currently living in New Orleans and working for a non-profit school charter. I studied Spanish and Human Resources at LSU. I lived in Badajoz, Spain last year teaching English and traveling Europe. I'm a Midwesterner at heart but have quickly adapted to a Southern way of life full of Jambalaya, SEC football, and New Orleans festivals. I've come to the conclusion that I'm attracted to anything different than me. The simplest things put me in a cheery mood; sunny weather, giant cups of coffee, exploring a new city, or trying something new. I hope to make the most out of 2013 by not being a wasteful person and making the most out of every situation in front of me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have yet to couch surf but everyone has to start somewhere right? As of now, I spend most of my time on here reading reviews and imagining up places I can travel to next.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met up with a couch surfer in Tenerife, Canary Islands. I had a great time sharing the day with him because he made that trip all the more memorable. I'm looking forward to having more positive experiences by using CS.

I enjoy learning about other cultures through food, sight-seeing, meeting and speaking with locals, etc.

Anything on the food or travel program. I love anything relating to healthy foods or a healthy lifestyle.

I enjoy meeting people who choose to travel. I find that when you are studying abroad, teaching abroad, or backpacking..you make such great friends because you have chosen to be in a particular place at a particular time.
