Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I've been lingering on the outskirts of CouchSurfdom for a couple years now, I have yet to actually surf or host. I've heard nothing but positive experiences from my peers who have gone before me, and so I am eager to jump in.

Interests

Yesterday, a hike/jog/dance through the woods with my DSLR around my neck. A perch on a rocky overhang to journal about the thought of the moment. A bowl of cereal with a Disney classic for dinner. Today, hours in front of a computer editing photos, advising students, or daydreaming about the complexities of human life. Ice cream at whatever place I have a BOGO coupon for. Twenty minutes of strumming on the geet. Tomorrow...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Joining a dozen Moldovan junior high-schoolers as they have their very first movie theater experience. Double-checking under every toilet seat in the Australian Outback to ensure no redback spiders are hiding (yes... they could legitimately cause paralysis). Running through this winter's first blanket of Wisconsin snowfall at midnight.
