About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To bake more bread more often!
ABOUT ME
I am a talker, a runner, a photographer, an artist, a student, a [bad] singer, a dreamer, a reader, a dancer, a lover, an occasional drinker, a climber and many other labels that you can give me once you meet me.
I would describe myself as easygoing, but quite forward. I won't hesitate to say hello, smile, or express my opinion. I'll usually try anything once and would like to consider myself open-minded. However, I like to meet people who challenge the ideas I have about myself.
I love to be outside. I am into backpacking and trekking, although I don't get out often enough. I try to ride my bike to work everyday, and hope that Charlotte becomes more and more bike friendly. I love to scuba dive and go trail running, and usually have a tough time sitting still.
My current dream is to sell everything and live on a sailboat...taking my couch with me everywhere I go!
I live with Scott Brown (check out his profile on my friend list), so we're kind of a package deal if you surf with us!
PHILOSOPHY
I like spending time with myself, although myself likes spending time with others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I got into CS when I was studying in Copenhagen, and surfed in a few cities while I was there. aaaaand now it's my turn to return all the love that was given to me! Drop us a line!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have stayed with:
Sofie in Malmo
Sabine in Berlin
Colleen in Edinburgh
David and Eli in Barcelona
I am really amazed by the Couchsurfing network. As pretentious as this may sound, It redeems my trust in the world. It is fantastic to know that a group of people have come together to share a love of traveling and are willing to share their time and space with strangers (soon to be friends).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Diving off of Isla Coiba with a Whale Shark...Climbing Arthur's Seat and having a tuna sandwich in the sun...Surfing topless off of an abandoned black sand beach in Costa Rica...Running the bastions of Copenhagen...Hiking through three states in the US...Jumping through a hole in the ice nude in Sweden...Seeing Devil's tower materialize on the horizon in Wyoming...Being enveloped by fog on Point Reyez, CA...exploring islands in the Stockholm Archipeligo...sleeping in a grass hut in Kuna Yala...
Teach, Learn, Share
Maybe I could teach you the basics of watercoloring, how to make killer biscuits and fried chicken, or how to swim butterfly. I could give you pointers on how to make a latticed cherry pie or some photoshop tricks. I'm sure I have some other strange skills that you could use...just ask.
