ABOUT ME

I love to experiment and my favorite test-subject is myself.

I'm a Jill of all trades: proficient at many, master of none. I've worked in women's health, tech support, marketing, waited tables, played in orchestras, written web content, cooked, sold shoes, busked, made coffee, edited dissertations, tutored, manipulated social media, taught piano. In between these many occupations I've been called a lot of things, but my favorite is gypsy.

I like fires, slip 'n' slides, and sunning myself until I fall asleep. I hate waste and small-mindedness, and in my spare time I do environmental justice work and try not to get too pessimistic about the future.

PHILOSOPHY

Do what makes you happy, as long as you're not hurting anyone else (without their consent).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sometimes I get itchy feet and impulsively take off to parts unknown, and I'm always happy to share space with like-minded folks.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I keep meeting amazing people through couchsurfing--with open hearts and homes. I'm proud to call many of them my friends to this day.

Absolutely everything, it's kind of a problem really. I'll try anything once, unless it involves a falling sensation.

I write, I knit, I cook, I bake, I pound leather, I paint faces, I sew, I speak Spanish, I read tarot and sometimes Londa lets me see the future...I quote esoteric philosophers and read faster than is good for me and I could put together your ready-to-assemble furniture quicker than you could blink. As long as the directions are not in Swedish as I do not speak Swedish.
