ABOUT ME

Just another poor college kid trying to live out her dreams and see as much as this big beautiful world as possible. I am always ready for an adventure and constantly looking to make new friends along the way! I am currently living in the beautiful country of Finland, attending grad school and taking every possible opportunity to experience new things.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't knock it 'til you've tried it. I will do just about anything once, and am always excited to see and try new things!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Although I am relatively new to Couchsurfing, I have only had amazingly positive experiences! My favorite thing about traveling to new places, is getting to know people and their stories along the way! Couchsurfing has introduced me to so many incredible people, and I can't wait to continue to cross paths with more lovely humans in the months to come!

兴趣

I really love being outdoors, and just about any activity out in the fresh air will suffice. Back home in the PNW I can be found playing sports, volleyball especially, hiking one of our beautiful mountains, or relaxing by the river.

If I am fortunate enough to be traveling near the ocean, it can be difficult to tear me away from the seaside. The same could be said about food, because I LOVE to eat! I enjoy all kinds of food, however true to my poor college kid budget, the cheaper the better. I absolutely love to explore the local and authentic dishes when traveling.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

While camping in the Tibetan countryside, I once helped a local shepherd chase down and wrangle a sheep so that we could remove the bell from around its neck. The combination of the beautiful lakeside views, the excitement of pursuing the sheep and the difficulty involved in actually catching it combined to make a truly unforgettable experience!

Though I don't consider myself particularly talented at anything, I am an easy going person who loves to try new things and attempt to learn new skills!

I can offer hosts an optimistic, enthusiastic attitude, as well as good conversation! Though I don't consider myself much of a cook, I have been referred to as a talented kitchen cleaner upper/ dishwasher and am always willing to share these skills in exchange for good company, conversation and/or food!

Though not particularly useful, I can play a mean game of foosball, so if you happen to be in the market for a foosball teammate, I'm your girl! :)
