After several trips I finally re-cultured and re-based in Vienna, altough traveling just doesn't leave me alone. I guess all of us here know about that phenomena. :-) However, I am not looking for traveling in a 3-day-and-I-know-the-whole-country-trip. I respect the locality and authenticity of every place/city/culture, which is why I prefer long-term travels.
To keep it short: I'm easy-going, advernturous, keen on meeting people and having discussions about politics, society or sunshine. I'm a bit of a language-geek and a passionate beerdrinker. Oh, and I guess it goes along with travel: curiousity and spontaeniousness are the leading characterisics.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Honestly? Hostels are overpriced (although I'm working in one). Plus it's just so much more interesting too meet up with locals.
I haven't surfed in a while now, hence I need to get more active again! :-) So far I had wonderful hosts in:
Amsterdam, Budapest, Copenhagen, Florence, La Spezia, Lonigo, Sao Paulo, Río de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, San Juan, Vega Baja, Munich
having fun and getting to know new faces and different culutres, cities and ways of life. One of my biggest interesst is learning new languages or gestures. and to add something new through South America: THE TIPICAL DANCE OF YOUR COUNTRY!
Music, Movies, and Books
Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Lord of Rings, Into the Wild, Pulp Fiction, Inglorious Bastards, One Piece, so many more...
Reaggeton, Latin, Oldies
hungry for them!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
getting up every morining.. looking out of the window..
after finishing high school i went backpacking for a year in latin america, one year later south africa. its amazing to see people suffering from different circumstances on the one hand, on the other one i have never experienced that much respect, pleasure and fun
Teach, Learn, Share
TEACH ME YOUR LANGUAGE, TEACH ME DANCING, TEACH ME HOW TO ORDER A DRINK IN A BAR SO IT SOUNDS LIKE A LOCAL.
In new towns discovering things like tea houses, book stores, markets and bars with some (good) alternative music, salsa and techno/synthetic music
What I Can Share with Hosts
Depending on my mood I'd say sensless to great conversations
