ABOUT ME

Hi my name is Samantha, I am a 26 yr old living/working in San Francisco. I absolutely love it here, but it is time for my next big adventure and that's why my sister and I are headed to AU next month for a year! We are both very laid back people, get along with just about anyone. Love to meet others especially those who travel and share stories. Always down for a spontaneous adventure. We are hoping to couch surf our first few weeks in AU as we travel from Sydney to Cairns, meet some locals and get a true Australian experience.

As of late Ive spent most of my free time building my travel blog I intend to keep up with throughout my trip as well as reading others travel blogs. Reading about other peoples trips and hearing others stories is making me so excited for my own trip.

I recently got into photography, bought my first DSLR and love going on long hikes around San Francisco taking pics and playing around with the different settings.

Cooking has been another newish hobby of mine, I pick one new recipe a week and make it for lunches for the week. Fortunately it usually turns out pretty darn good! BTW I would be happy to prepare a good home cooked meal for any of those who put me up during my travels :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Gosh this is a tough question. I experienced so many awestrucking moments during my Europe backpacking trip, I would say my favorite spots were all of Switzerland, one of the most beautiful places I'd ever been and after a month of traveling through Germany, France and Austria it was nice being around so many friendly faces!

Cinque Terre was incredibly beautiful and such a different way of life, I absolutely loved the 5-6 mile hike along the coast from village to village.

I took my first road trip to Carmel CA a few months back and hiked along the coast, took some great pics, glad I made it out there before I leave for AU!
