ABOUT ME

What am I all about?
Well, I have a degree in Kinesiology (sports science) that is hanging on my wall in Canada as I am abroad experiencing life.
I just returned back to Canada after teaching English in Ukraine and I am still travelling every chance I have.

I love meeting new people and some of my favourite memories involve severe language barriers complete with charades and a lot of laughter.
I like being outdoors. No, I LOVE being outdoors.
I like planning, BUT am way too spontaneous to do it.
I'm from Canada, but I don't enjoy cold weather.
I love to dance. Anywhere. I learnt the cha-cha from an 8 year old Ukrainian boy on a busy downtown sidewalk and loved every minute of it.
I like learning new things.
I will never turn down a coffee or a beer.
I love talking with friends, family, strangers - you name it.
I will try anything at least once.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am relatively new to this site (It was just in June that I lost my couchsurfing V-card), but am excited to become more involved.
I have surfed a few times now, have met with others living in my city, and have begun hosting people - all of which proved to be wonderful experiences! :)

Hard to narrow this down - I enjoy MOST types, anything you can move to... I'm really into folk-rock, indie, basically chill music. I have a soft spot for anything acoustic, violin, or piano. I love sharing music and learning about new artists.
