CURRENT MISSION

Currently on a trip to Chicago for five weeks of improv training, then off to Germany and Italy for six weeks to some work as a travelling statistician.

I'm very excited to spend some time looking for places I want to work in the future and would love to meet some new people and see the best places in town.

I'm a statistician at the International Lab for Air Quality and Health. I love cooking, Euro-style board games, coffee, and impro(v).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted a bunch of people a few years ago and had an absolute blast. My housing situation changed and I stopped being able to host, although I've been itching to get back into it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only ever hosted people and now that I'm taking my first holiday in about two years I'm very keen to meet a few more people around the world. I've enjoyed being able to show people a bit more of my city and would like to see other people's favourite parts of their towns.

Interests

Impro(v) theatre, board games, cooking, baking, politics, coffee, mathematics, statistics. I got into homebrewing for a little bit, and successfully brewed two batches of cider; have helped out a friend with a batch of beer as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekking through the Tarkine rainforest in Tasmania. It was amazing seeing trees that are 700 years old in an area where perhaps only 500 people have ever been.
