ABOUT ME

Recently moved to Sacramento, CA for a new job, living in the heart of Downtown Sacramento. Moved to the US 8 years ago from Jordan. My greatest passions are urban planning/design studies, photography, documentary films, and nature. I grew-up in Abu Dhabi [15 yrs], went back to Amman/Jordan for my undergrads in Biology [4 yrs], left to Israel for a year as a student and volunteered with a bird sanctuary. Later left to the US and been shortly to NY and Vermont, and later moved to Los Angeles [7 yrs] where I got my masters and worked for my family retail clothing store. A 60 hours/week PLUS job, my family business left me with little [if any] social life or friends [when I had time out, I would go and look for birds to photograph in the FEW available NATURAL habitat near by]. I love to move around and explore new territories, see new towns, streets, buildings [URBAN landscape], and when possible take images; my newest mission is to capture full 360 degree panoramic images and create virtual tours like no other did.

The greatest job I ever had was a VOLUNTEER “Bird Photographer” for BirdLife International for 2 months in Jordan, traveling through deserts and mountains looking for birds, it was an amazing assignment. I also did SCUBA diving, including wreck and underwater photography.

I have a lot of stories to share and I am looking to host people [and be hosted as well]. I can pass my experience from Sacramento/San Francisco Bay area, as well as Los Angels [Southern California] and few other cities…

PHILOSOPHY

Well... a good family discipline goes a long way....my dad was in the military for 40 yrs [he is gentle as a bird...], my mother was a bit tough...and rough...RUN... !!!!

Earth comes first. Our time on earth is finite, so live in peace and reach out, connect, learn, have fun [responsibly], be genuine, be real...

Years back before SC, I hosted travelers [people whom I just met, and later became loyal friends] at my home in Jordan, and I was also hosted once in Long Island, NY. It really makes a big difference…
