About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding a couch in Melbourne to look for a permanent housing and meet people. I don't know nobody there yet!

ABOUT ME

After 2 years in London, dozens of gigs and bars and pubs, hundreds of beers and millions of good moments there, my body needed rest. I offered it a 6 months rest cure in the French Alps, enjoying fresh and clean air, hikes, rock climbing and silence.
Now enough! I need crowd, I need live music, I need pubs and I need beers, I need good time with friends --> I'm arriving in Melbourne (I heard it's a very nice city for all that stuff) as a student for one year! I need to find a flat and I need to meet cool people (I don't know nobody there yet!). Couch surfing seems the best to both meet cool couchsurfers and to have a kind of temporary accommodation the time for me to find a proper flat!

PHILOSOPHY

Well, I don't ask myself too many questions. I tend to live the moment. Maybe I should think more about that?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I lent a free room in my flat to a couple of surfers once. I'll do it again if I have the opportunity.
I met surfers several times when I was living in London, to bring them to nice places.
I currently don't have any couch as I'm moving to Melbourne. I'm actually looking for a couch there myself!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a couple of Spanish girls when I was living in London. They were couch-surfing for a week or two and had difficulties to find couches. As I had a free room in my flat, I proposed and they stayed several days. At that moment, I hadn't registered on the CS website, so it was kind of a first CS experience outside the official network.
By the way, I became friend with the girls, and we still keep in touch from time to time.

Interests

A lot of music (any kind). I sing and play the guitar. I love to go to small gigs in bars.
I like mountains (I'm from the Alps in France) so I hike and climb quite a lot.
I like cooking and eating as many Frenchies do actually...
I'm interested in politic as well
