American and Kiwi wife currently living in New Zealand. Came to NZ as a backpacker, stayed for the girl, got my education, now working as a Bioinformatics software developer for a really cool company.

Melany, my wife, works in the Insurance industry and is from Taranaki. Her family is mostly dairy farmers so she's got quite a rural perspective on NZ.

Musically, I've been quite into Infected Mushroom lately, but I like quite a wide range of things.

Books: sci-fi (especially classic), and non-fiction.

Movies: Sci-fi, smart action. Dr. Strangelove is my favourite. Also have a love hate relationship with the Pink Floyd the Wall Movie

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Have my private pilot's license, haven't actually used it for quite awhile though. Also been to the Pyramids, although in my honest opinion Petra was way cooler.
