About Me

CURRENT MISSION - To explore the world, to make new freinds and to live life!

ABOUT ME - I think it’s a bit tricky to summarize my whole personality in one little paragraph but I’ll certainly try! Ok, so first of all I’m a student studying stem cell biology at the University of Bristol, a city with character next to avon gorge (an awesome area with some great places for climbing). I became an enthusiastic traveler when I took part in a university event called BUMMIT. I hitchhiked from Sheffield (in England) to Split (in Croatia) over 5 days and in doing so raised around £250 :) it was amazingly good fun and since then, I've always tried to hitchhike whenever possible. Anyway, since then I’ve done a fair amount of traveling which has proved to be great fun!

As for what I’m like, that’s more difficult… I’m friendly, eager to try anything new and I try my best to accommodate for those around me. We get one chance on this earth so we might as well LIVE LIFE! One chance to make it all worth it!

Should you couch surf with me or should I have the pleasure of staying with you, I’ll do my best to make everything as comfortable and stress free as possible :) Go and have a look at the ‘What I Can Share With Hosts’ and ‘Teach, Learn, Share' paragraphs to see what to expect if I/you come visit!

PHILOSOPHY - Be spontaneous! Seriously, it makes for the best memories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people! Individuals on couch surfing are more often than not kindred spirits, you love to explore and live very similar lives to my own. That means I'm bound to make new friends whilst surfing on everyone's living room floors!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Hmm, tricky. I'd say that I enjoy listening to indie rock, alternative music and most of all, soundtracks to films, games and TV series! It lets you relive the emotion of all over again :)

Books: Not tricky at all! I enjoy reading fiction and fantasy books like 'Eragon', '20,000 leagues under the sea' and series such as 'Mistborn'. More recently I've taken to writing entire books documenting my travels: they take a while to make but they're great fun to re-read!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've hitchhiked from England to Norway and back over about 2 weeks. Norway is by far the most stunning European country I've visited, one with truly awe inspiring views. Humungous walls of grey rock border gigantic sloping valleys which contain deep dark fjords. In the winter you can see the northern lights and in the summer, it never gets dark! Norway’s a fantastic place, even if it is a bit expensive.

Teach, Learn, Share

Could I cook for you?
Would you like to learn how to slackline?

Do you want to learn how to climb outdoors?
Maybe I could include you in one of my traveling movies?

You will if you come visit!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories! So many many stories which I'll happily tell you. I've also had the pleasure of travelling quite a bit and as such I can recommend a fair few places to visit. Finally, I can provide you with good company which will hopefully allow for a bit of cultural exchange! I think that's what couchsurfing should be about; exchanging traditions, beliefs and views of the world in such a way that makes us feel like we can travel within our own home!

However… stories have to be made before they can be told! Could I help out in the kitchen and cook a meal? I could teach you to slack line! Anything is possible!
