We are about to embark on a journey to Sweden with a few friends of mine, and we decided we'd like to stay there by coachsurfing. Beyond that first step, well, I think it's a bit more authentic way to stay in a foreign country because you get a more insider's perspective on things when compared to living in a hotel.

Oh boy. Okay, well I love all kinds of music, but I really have a soft spot for cinematic / atmospheric music such as Olafúr Arnalds, Sigúr Ros, Ulver, Arvo Pärt, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Hammock, Stars of the Lid etc. Beyond that, genres I variously enjoy include stoner&doom rock/metal, trip hop / abstract hip hop, electro-swing, classical baroque/romantic music (Vivaldi!) and acoustic singer-songwriter stuff like Leonard Cohen & Nick Drake.

Films that've made an impact on me include: The Steam of Life, Knight of Cups, Melancholia, Interstellar, No Country for Old Men, Leviathan, Lobster, Amour.

For series, I love Twin Peaks, Rick & Morty and True Detective.

As for books, lately I've been reading more theoretical stuff like books on work-ethics, structures of society, power-relationships etc. In general I love authors like Haruki Murakami, Kafka, Leena Krohn & other weird-ass authors.
