About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to get my bearings

ABOUT ME

** Dear Guests: I don't mind if you don't read my profile... chill out! I understand that probably you prefer to spend your holidays enjoying the city rather than reading profiles. But, please, for your own good... read the couch information to avoid misunderstanding or weird situations, thanks :) **

*** Oh yeah! But don't forget to delete the name of the last person you wrote or the line of suspension dots and type mine , haha ***

Taking into account my experiences, reading profiles has given me as many information about people as knowing their zodiacal sign.
Anyway, I've made friends who are super talented to notice how is somebody by reading this, well, I'm not that skilled, but for those people :) here is my "all about me":

Mmhh... I think I'm nice xD
But I prefer go with more objective terms: So... I'm an sleepyhead. Also pretty NON-fastidious (wich some of the people around me dislike). I suffer when I cannot recycle and speacially when I see people wasting paper... I used to write my classnotes in the reverse of the tickets and printed advertisements, but I learned this was a bad idea when realized the gap of knowledge of diagnostic evaluation between lesson 3 and lesson 6 that I have. Lesson learned

For some reason, I find increasingly difficult to express myself in Spanish. That would be normal if my English and/or French would have improving so much that they can replace somehow my Spanish. But that's not happening. So now I can bad-speaking in three languages.
That means that I cannot go through almost any kind of deep conversation. Don't try to change it, it's a waste of time.

I also have problems to find my way... wich is an awful trait in travellers (I know! xD) it's becoming a ritual to get lost in Bilbao's metro when I'm with my surfers. To understand how silly this is, take a look to Bilbao's metro map:

I finish, cause I don't know what else to say, but in case we meet: I like the Spanish way of saying hello and good-bye by giving two kisses. One per cheek. I've been kind of trying to spread this tradition abroad... it has lead into really clumsy and weird situations. Shaking hands is OK. Lesson learned.
Anyway, if you read this and you don't have personal space issues... here is a useful tutorial:

Well, looking forward to meet you dear reader!

xx

PHILOSOPHY

"Own only what you can carry with you; know language, know countries, know people. Let your memory be your travel bag."

Alexander Solzhenitsyn

....................

I read this recently and it shot me. It impressed me how poetically expresses exactly how I feel right now. Unfortunately I read it in Spanish and I´m not the best Spanish- English translator, so try to be creative reading it:

"She´s in the horizon. I come up two steps, she moves two steps away. I walk two steps, and the horizon runs away ten steps. However much I walk, I´ll never reach her. What´s Utopia for? For that: to walk"

Eduardo Galeano

..............................

I do my thing and you do your thing.
I am not in this world to live up to your expectations,
And you are not in this world to live up to mine.
You are you, and I am I,
and if by chance we find each other, it's beautiful.
If not, it can't be helped.

Fritz Perls

About teaching and sharing:
I'd like to say that I'll cook for you, I actually used to love cooking. And sometimes I make a delicious Spanish omelette... but I'm always surprised when it happens.
So, I've already had enough kitchen accidents to know that this is not my thing.

To avoid risks, I'll make a little draw or portrait for you.

But I don't promise it will be great-quality xD let's hope I happen to have an inspired day.
