About Me
ⵙⵎⵢⵔ ⴱⵛⴰⵔ
Hey y’all & welcome to my little corner of the world! 🌍✨
Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my profile.
My name is Samir. I grew up in a small village just outside the magical city of Fes, Morocco—a place filled with ancient streets, rich traditions, and the smell of fresh bread from the bakery every morning. As a kid, I learned how to farm and live close to nature before moving into the city for my studies. Life has taken me on quite a journey since then!
Along the way, I’ve:
• Worked as a third-grade teacher (kids are the best teachers, too!).
• Taught Arabic to English speakers and English to Arabic speakers—language exchange is one of my favorite ways to connect.
• Had the privilege of working with individuals with special needs, an experience that truly shaped my heart and perspective.
A few years ago, I packed my bags and moved to the United States. Since then, I’ve been soaking up a whole new culture, exploring hidden gems, and meeting people who’ve inspired me in countless ways. I recently graduated from the University of Memphis with a degree in Supply Chain Management—a field I love because it’s all about movement, connection, and discovery (kind of like traveling!).
What excites me most is conversation and connection. Whether it’s sharing stories about travel, diving into culture and history, exchanging ideas about business and life, or just laughing over something silly, I believe every person I meet has something amazing to teach me.
If you’re looking for someone who’s open-minded, curious, and always up for a good chat, I’d love to connect. Wherever we meet—over tea, coffee, or just a walk—I’m sure we’ll create a story worth remembering. 🌟
So don’t be shy—let’s share a journey, even if it’s just for an evening.

Music, Movies, and Books
🎶 My Music Vibes
I’ve got a pretty eclectic taste—jazz for its soul, country music (yes, I know, most people think it’s unusual for a Moroccan to love country, but I promise it grows on you 🤠🎸), and of course the timeless beauty of Moroccan classic music that always brings me back home.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Help kids with special needs
Teach, Learn, Share
🌍 Passions
I love sharing and exchanging—whether it’s cultures, languages, or food. Teaching someone a new word in Arabic, explaining a Moroccan tradition, or introducing friends to the flavors of my country always makes me feel at home, no matter where I am.
What I Can Share with Hosts
🍴🚗 What I Love to Share
Expect wonderful stories, delicious food (whether it’s Moroccan tajine or a taste of American comfort food), and if the timing’s right, I’m always happy to give a little ride around the city—be it the winding streets of Fes or the soulful corners of Memphis.
