Hiya, I'm Sami, twenty years old and in desperate need of an adventure. In may this year, I dropped out of University and decided to see a bit more of the world than just my room at home.
Currently I am making my way through New Zealand and will then fly over to Australia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have never done couchsurfing before, but I have heard enough positive things about it for me to give it a try.
I am on here, because I want to find a place to stay - obviously - but I also want to get to know new people who can share a little of their culture (and life) with me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't really have a favourite movie, but I do have a couple favourite TV shows, including Stranger Things, Gilmore Girls, Freaks & Geeks, and Downton Abbey.

Because I read a lot, having to pick a favourite book really is a pretty hard task. However, two of my favorites by far are "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows", and "The Great Gatsby".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got soaked by the mist of the Victoria Falls in Zambia, hiked 20km up a volcano in New Zealand, and drove across the entire country of Spain.

Teach, Learn, Share

In return for a stay, I am more than happy to teach some German or basic Spanish, but I can also cook or help with the general household.

I would love to learn some French, Dutch or Italian, but I am interested in learning languages in general.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Truth be told, I don't have a lot of skills to share, but I would be more than happy to teach a little German (possibly even Spanish), but I can also help with things like gardening or the general household.
